Feel Alone

Maybe you have lost someone close or find it difficult to speak to people and this makes you feel lonely.  Sometimes you can be surrounded by people but feel very alone. It can be that you feel the people around you just don’t care or that they just don’t ‘get you’.  If you feel alone this can sometimes make you feel sad and that is when it is important that you talk to someone.

What you can do

It is important that you can work out why you feel the way you feel and the best way to do this to speak to someone.  Talking to someone about your feelings can help you to understand and make sense of the emotions that you are experiencing.  Sharing with someone you trust can help you to feel less isolated and also give that person an idea of how to support you.

Who you can speak to

It is important that you talk to someone you can trust with these intimate feelings.  A close friend or relative is good and they can see you regularly to offer support, however you may feel uncomfortable sharing these feelings with them.  You have lots of other choices, you can speak to a corner worker in confidence or use the support services available online or on the phone.
